SpineUniverse
Goimage was responsible
for complete development of design, implementation and proprietary
content management systems for a large international back and neck pain website with
plans for public ownership.
The content management system was designed to allow inputs from
non-technical staff. The system allows for the deployment and linking
of new web pages by editorial staff with absolutely no knowledge
of of the underlying technology. The web server currently delivers over 3 million pages monthly, written
on the fly, using intelligent algorithms to customize each page for
the user.
In addition, the client's web presence required the development
of an ad delivery which currently delivers over 8 million impressions
per month. Ads are targeted by category, geography and article source.
New campaigns can be rapidly deployed and ad delivery can be managed
by time period and/or quantity. A complete statistical program runs
in the background to provide advertiser and in-house reporting.
Finally, each consumer page delivered offers up geographically relevant
contact information for physicians who specialize in the treatment
of the condition discussed in the article. Again, intelligent algorithms
ensure proper distribution throughout the SpineUniverse membership.
GoImage Media currently provides ongoing technical management, design
and custom programming for this website. The site was identified
by Yahoo Internet Life as the "Best of the Web" in 2002. In 2003, the site was chosen by the BBC as one of only 3
recommended sites for Back Pain, as a result of its breadth of content
about sciatica, degenerative disc disease and other conditions.
